TEIGIT is a broker for three insurers in New York:
GHI (Group Health Incorporated)
This is a PPO that allows members to see any doctor they wish, both in and out of network. It is available throughout New York State. Please contact us for details.
| Oxford Health Plans | Limited to the following counties: Bronx, Dutchess, Kings (Brooklyn), New York (Manhattan), Nassau, Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond (Staten Island), Rockland, Suffolk, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester Counties |
There are three POS plans that allow members to go to any doctor in or out of the Oxford network. If the member stays within the Oxford network, there are co-payments for office visits and hospital admissions. The expenses incurred outside the network are subject to co-insurance of 70%/30% after an annual deductible which varies with each plan.
Atlantis
Atlantis Health Plan is a physician owned insurance company offering HMOs and Point of Service plans in the five boroughs of NYC.
Domestic Partnerships are now available on all NY plans.
